Security Officer

Flex-Time. This position provides basic security coverage insuring adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, team members and the company. May assist with the control of alcohol on property. Previous security experience or Military background strongly preferred. Must be available weekends. FLEX TIME POSITION HOURS: 6pm-11pm, Friday and Saturday nights for concerts/events.

Part-Time Cocktail Servers. This position serves drinks to guests according to established rules of etiquette and encourages responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Housekeeping Supervisor

Full-Time Third Shift Housekeeping Supervisor. This position is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the Housekeeping Department, schedules, trains, and evaluations of housekeepers. Assists in ordering inventory of existing supplies, assists in ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations of all governing agencies. Supervisory experience and previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred. Third Shift: 11pm-7am, Wednesday through Sunday.

Count Team    

Count Team Member

Flex-Time. This position is responsible for removing bill changer boxes from slot machines and transports to the Count Room. Lifts, opens, sorts, counts and wraps currency removed from drop boxes and bill changer box. Operates counting machines, wrapper, scales and conveyor system. Responsible for proper dumping, weighing, wrapping and packaging of slot drop. Must be able to perform strenous manual labor safely and efficiently. Must be physically able to assist pushing/pulling large cart. Physically demanding work, which involves stooping, bending, and lifting of currency and coin and requires excellent mathematical skills. Hours: Monday & Friday 2:30am-10am, Wednesday 3am-7:30am, and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 3:30am-5:30am.

Peninsula Gaming, LLC is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. This individual shall provide high-level administrative support by preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Position shall be responsible for preparing reports, memos, letters, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software. Position is also responsible for performing general office duties such as maintaining records, filing documents, distributing correspondence and responding to inquiries. Candidates should have at least 3 years of secretarial and/or administrative assistant work experience. A legal background is preferred but not required. Candidates shall have extensive computer skills, including knowledge of Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express. Candidates shall have strong communication skills. This position assists the Corporate Driector of IT with developing and maintaining companywide hardware and software standards. Plan, review, and implement changes to company IT systems. Maintain systems and documentation in accordance with IT best practices and Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines. Responsible for the design and implementation of network, server, software and voice system upgrades. Minimum Qualifications include: Five (5) years of information system experience (preferably in a Casino environment), strong technical, analytical and communication skills. Bachelor's degree (may substitute additional experience).

A license shall be denied if the applicant has a current addiction to alcohol or a controlled substance, has a history of mental illness without sufficient evidence of rehabilitation, or has a history of repeated acts of violence without sufficient evidence of rehabilition.

The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation will conduct a complete background investigation on each applicant.
